SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 10, 2024 – Cupbop, the popular fast-casual Korean BBQ concept, is expanding its international footprint with its first venture into the United Arab Emirates. The brand has inked a development deal with RMAL Hospitality to bring its unique “Korean BBQ in a cup” experience to the Emirates.
With a strong presence in the U.S. (57 locations) and Indonesia (over 200 locations), Cupbop is continuing its global expansion, introducing its flavorful twist on Korean cuisine to the Middle East.
RMAL Hospitality, a prominent restaurant and hotel development company, boasts a portfolio of international restaurant chains, including Wagamama, Trader Vic’s, Allo Beirut, and Marco Pierre White. Led by CEO Elias Madbak, a seasoned veteran in the restaurant franchise industry, RMAL Hospitality plans to open 10 Cupbop locations in the UAE, with the first expected to launch in the first half of 2025.
