Solon, Ohio, USA – DiGiorno® is heating up the frozen pizza aisle with a new offering designed to replicate the taste and texture of restaurant-quality wood-fired pizza.
The brand today announced the debut of its new Wood Fired Style Crust Pizza, featuring premium toppings and a crust previously achieved by baking at high temperatures for a chewy, lightly charred texture.
The all-new pizza aims to elevate the at-home dining experience. The Wood-Fired Style Crust is described as having a rich flavor, airy structure, and a perfect bite, reminiscent of pizza baked in a traditional wood-fired oven.
Starting this spring, the artisan-crafted pizza is rolling out to retailers nationwide in four distinct varieties:
- Four Cheese Pizza: A blend of Romano, Asiago, Mozzarella, and Parmesan cheeses that melt and brown to create a golden cheese pull.
- Italian Meat Trio Pizza: Combines pepperoni, salami, and Italian sausage for a savory, meaty flavor in every slice.
- Supreme Speciale Pizza: Topped with pepperoni, sausage, green, yellow, and red peppers, and onions for a vibrant mix of flavors.
- Premium Pepperoni Pizza: Features classic pepperoni stacked generously on the new crispy, lightly charred crust.

“DiGiorno is known for consistently delivering a fresh-baked taste and crust innovation, and Wood Fired Style Crust Pizza is no exception,” said Kimberly Holowiak, Senior Brand Manager for DiGiorno.
She added that the new crust offers the desirable characteristics of wood-fired pizza – the crisp, chew, and char – without needing a special oven or leaving home, highlighting how the brand is pushing boundaries in the frozen category.

The four DiGiorno Wood Fired Style Crust Pizza varieties will be available at retailers nationwide starting in May, with a suggested retail price of $6.49 (prices may vary).
Pizza enthusiasts can also look forward to new digital and social content, plus a commercial featuring the new pizza airing across various platforms starting in July.
