El Rancho Supermercado Kicks Off Major Price Drop Campaign in Texas

Ontario, California, USAEl Rancho Supermercado, a Texas-based grocery chain under the Heritage Grocers Group umbrella, has launched an aggressive price reduction campaign called Super Gangas.

The initiative is designed to offer significantly lower prices on thousands of items customers buy most often.

The Super Gangas, which translates to Super Bargains, means reduced prices are already in effect on the shelves, available to all shoppers. This campaign represents a notable investment by Heritage Grocers Group to support customers.

“Our customers are at the center of everything we do, and we’re excited to invest to support them, and to launch our first major media campaign!” stated Allie Garcia, Group Vice President of Marketing for Heritage Grocers Group, in the announcement.

Thousands of everyday favorite items are included in the price reductions. Shoppers will find lower prices on essentials such as milk, bread, baby food, cereal, coffee, pasta, and many other items throughout the store. These discounted products are easily identifiable by special yellow, black, and red ‘Super Gangas’ tags.

Kim Cates, Group Vice President of Merchandising, added that the team is focused on providing an assortment tailored to customers at prices that help them “fill their pantries without emptying their wallets.”

With spring underway and summer approaching, these price cuts aim to help shoppers stretch their grocery budgets. The “Super Gangas” campaign is currently being promoted through various media outlets in the Dallas/Ft Worth and Houston areas of Texas, and is also streaming on Spotify.

Heritage Grocers Group is described as America’s largest Hispanic and ethnic food retailer. Headquartered in Ontario, California, the group operates multiple grocery banners, including El Rancho Supermercado, across six states.

States including California, Texas, Nevada, Arizona, Kansas, and Illinois, with a total of 57 stores under the Cardenas Markets banner, 29 stores under the El Rancho Supermercado banner, 21 stores under Tony’s Fresh Market banner, and 7 stores under the Los Altos Ranch Market banner. They aim to provide communities with a wide assortment of traditional and specialty grocery items, focusing on freshness, authenticity, and affordability, creating a unique customer experience.
