Hormel Foods Corporation (NYSE: HRL) has announced that Steve Lykken, group vice president of supply chain, is leaving the company.

Kevin Myers, PhD, has been appointed as the interim group vice president of supply chain.
Jim Snee, president and chief executive officer, was thankful for his contributions on his 32 year anniversary.

Kevin Myers, PhD, the appointee, joined Hormel Foods in 2001 in his position as a research scientist.
In 2015, Myers was appointed senior vice president of research & development and quality control.
He has prior experience in the food industry, holding positions in food tech and new product development.
Myers will oversee all aspects of Hormel’s supply chain organization and is a graduate of Iowa State University.
A permanent replacement for Lykken will be decided by the company’s future chief executive officer, once appointed.
