Lerøy Seafood Group, a major seafood producer, has reported a significant increase in its salmon and trout harvest volumes for the first quarter of 2025.

Excluding harvest volumes from Scottish Seafarms, the total harvest reached 38,200 tonnes gross weight (GWT), marking a substantial jump from 26,400 GWT in Q1 2024.
Here’s a breakdown of harvest volumes by region/company (in 1,000 GWT) for Q1 2025, with Q1 2024 figures in parentheses:
- Lerøy Aurora: 7.1 (6.0)
- Lerøy Midt: 16.4 (13.7)
- Lerøy Sjøtroll: 14.8, including 9.5 of trout (6.7, including 3.3 of trout)

While farmed fish volumes increased, wild catch volumes in Lerøy Havfisk decreased:
- Q1 2025: 19.0 thousand tonnes, including 3.6 of cod
- Q1 2024: 24.1 thousand tonnes, including 6.7 of cod
