Popular Carolina-Born restaurant chain, Bojangles has announced the signing of a 30-unit agreement to establish its first branch in Los Angeles in Early 2025.

The restaurant is known for its specialised breakfast and southern-style chicken, biscuits and teas.

The franchise holders for The Bojangles L.A. County location are Lorenzo Boucetta and Poulet Brothers, LLC. Serial entrepreneurs, Boucetta have a lifetime of experience within the hospitality and real estate industry.

The Franchise is a perfect fit for Boucetta who since moving to LA in 2009 has focused on restoring high-end historical properties by leveraging the hospitality industry internationally and domestically.

“From the moment I was first introduced to Bojangles, I knew immediately that this was a brand that I wanted to be a part of. The delicious chicken, biscuits, and breakfast, combined with strong unit economics and unparalleled support made the decision a no-brainer for me,” “I’ve spent several years in hospitality and real estate development, but my roots have always been ingrained in the restaurant industry. The opportunity to grow Bojangles in California presented itself at the perfect moment, and I am thrilled to bring this iconic brand to the market for the first time.”

said Boucetta.

The agreement doesn’t stop at L.A. County as Bojangles and Poulet Brothers, LLC plan to open 30 new locations over the next six years throughout California. Offering entrepreneurs the ultimate “chance to capitalize on the Bojangles business model and bring Southern flavor to communities across the state.”

“Supporting our franchisees is a fundamental pillar of success and growth at Bojangles. Being there for them at every stage of the franchising process strengthens our relationships and commitment to partnership,”

said Jose Armario, CEO of Bojangles.

Its menu boasts items such as made-from-scratch biscuit breakfast sandwiches, delicious hand-breaded chicken, flavorful fixins (sides) and Legendary Iced Tea®.

The chain currently has over 800 systemwide restaurants in 17 states and is one of the fastest-growing quick-service chicken chains in the United States with more locations in development.

A typical Bojangles franchise has a minimum value of ~$622,500 -$1,575,700 for express restaurants which is way above the traditional average cost of $2,265,500 – $3,647,200 per Bonjangles Franchise website.

Bojangles aims for franchise operators with experience who live within the franchise area and goals for at least 5 – 10 locations squarely within a large metro city area.
